- She pursued modelling after pursuing engineering and an MBA. In an interview, she talked about how she took up her passion for modelling and said,
Modelling has always been my passion. Being an MBA graduate and engineer never held me baçk in any way to follow my passion. Because I always follow my heart. When I heard about Cocoaberry from one of my friend and then learnt more about it from winners of different pageants, I was impressed because these winners are my inspiration to follow suit and their mentors were Anjali and Alesia Raut. I believe my dedication, self confidence and never-give-up attitude in any circumstances makes me a good model.”

- Akanksha was found dead after she checked into a hotel on 30 September 2022. In an interview, the police officer explained how the incident took place and said,
The incident came to light after the manager of the hotel informed the police that despite the staff knocking on the room’s door, there was no response from inside. The struggling model, who resided in Yamuna Nagar Society in Lokhandwala area of the city, had checked into the hotel around 1 pm on Wednesday and locked herself from inside.”
- The police found a suicide note in the hotel room in which she wrote,
I am sorry. No one is responsible for this. I am not happy. I just need peace.”
