SC to hear pleas challenging demonetisation of currency notes on September 28

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court is all set of hear pleas challenging Centre’s decision to demonetise currency notes of Rs 500, Rs 1,000 on Friday, September 28, news agency ANI reported.
The matter will be heard by 5 judge bench headed by Justice Abdul Nazeer tomorrow.
In November 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced demonetisation of all Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes in a bid to curb the circulation of black money in the economy.
