- Nobojit started participating in various dance competitions in Assam. In 2021, he participated in ‘Nacho Dil Se’ dance competition and finished in the top 12 contestants. He then participated in a few more dance competitions like ‘Best Talent of India’ (2021) and ‘Dance Warrior’ (2021).

- In 2022, he participated in ‘Dance India Dance Li’l Masters’ and won the title. He won a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh. In an interview, on winning the title, Nobojit said,
DID L’il Masters has truly given me everything that I dreamed for. The reality show has given several talented kids a platform to showcase their talent and I am really happy that I could also display my dancing skills and win everyone’s heart. I worked really hard to reach here and I danced my heart out every week. My skipper Vaibhav and the judges – Remo Sir, Mouni Ma’am and Sonali Ma’am really helped me learn and grow and I am extremely thankful for their support and encouragement. I must mention that I also made a lot of new friends through DID L’il Masters and while I will miss all the rehearsals, fun, and masti, I am sure that there are a lot of good things coming my way after winning this popular reality show.”

He further said that I will fulfil my father’s dream of becoming an army officer. He said,
After winning the show, I called up my dad, and he is very happy now. He is no more upset. He congratulated me. He told me to keep working hard and dancing. I will soon be travelling to Assam to meet my father.”
