For PM Narendra Modi’s Shimla rally, BJP sets target of assembling 50,000 people | Shimla News

SHIMLA: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to set the tone of BJP’s campaign for coming assembly election in Himachal Pradesh from Shimla on May 31 by addressing public rally.
For the rally, the BJP’s state unit has fixed the target of assembling a crowd of 50,000 people.
BJP had faced crushing defeat at the hands of Congress in the by-elections of Mandi parliamentary seat along with Arki, Fatehpur and Jubbal-Kotkhai assembly seats.
PM Modi is scheduled to visit Shimla on May 31 for the event being held to celebrate eight years of his government at the Centre.
For the event, the BJP will install three to four big LED screens where public will be able to witness the Prime minister’s speech.
BJP’s 27 mandal’s will be involved to make this rally a success. Targets have been set for the every mandal.
BJP’s top leadership of state on Wednesday held a virtual meeting with regard to preparations being made for the proposed rally.
BJP state president Suresh Kashyap said that party has set the target of assembling crowd of 50,000 in Shimla and May 31 rally will be historic.
Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur said that in the election year, many big events will be held in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Himachal Pradesh thrice at Shimla, Chamba and Dharamsala in a short span of time.
He said that rally in Shimla will be huge and the Prime Minister will address around 17 lakh people virtually on this occasion.
He said that Prime Minister will focus on 11 major schemes of the central government including Kisan Samman Nidhi, One Nation One Ration Card, Ayushman Bharat, Swachh Bharat Mission.
