jodhpur: Clashes in Jodhpur, internet snapped; CM Ashok Gehlot urges for peace | Jodhpur News

JAIPUR: Ahead of Eid, two groups clashed in Jalori Gate area of Jodhpur on Monday night. There were also reports of stone pelting and police lathicharge.
According to reports the clashes first broke out at the Jalori Gate intersection after some miscreants removed the saffron flag and put up an Islamic flag atop the statue of a freedom fighter.
As per the authorities, the situation has been brought under control and as a precautionary move, internet services have been snapped in the area.

Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot said the clashes were unfortunate and urged people to maintain peace and harmony.
