Tannaz Irani was born on 8 April 1972 in Mumbai, Maharashtra to a Parsi Indian family. She began her acting career in year 2000 from Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai starring alongside Hritik Roshan and Amisha Patel. She also participated in Mrs. India 2002, she was a runner-up. She also played a prominent character in Abbas Mustan’s thriller 36 China Town, followed by Sooraj Barjatya’s Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon and Roadside Romeo.
Apart from television, Tannaz is extremely popular in television industry. She has been part of many successful television serials like Yeh Meri Life Hai, Kis Desh Mai Hai Mera Dil, Swabhimaan etc. In 2021, she appeared as Rajeshwari Singh Rajawat in Zee TV’s show Apna Time Bhi Aayega.
