Some Lesser Known Facts About Vikramaditya Singh
- Vikramaditya Singh is an Indian politician and member of the Indian National Congress. He is the son of Virbhadra Singh, who held the post of Himachal Pradesh’s Chief Minister six times, and his second wife, Pratibha Singh. In December 2022, he came into the headlines after his wife, Sudarshana Chundawat, filed a case against him and accused him and his mother of domestic violence.
- Vikramaditya’s father, Virbhadra Singh, was a politician and a member of the Indian National Congress (INC). On 8 July 2021, at the age of 87, Virbhadra breathed his last after suffering from multi-organ failure at the Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) in Shimla. Her mother, Pratibha Singh, a member of the Indian National Congress, who served as the MP (member of parliament) from the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency, was appointed as the Chief of the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee on 26 April 2022.

- During his school days, Vikramaditya actively participated in several rifle shooting competitions and even represented his state at the national level. He won a bronze medal at the Rifle and Trap shooting Competition in 2007.
- In 2011, Vikramaditya contested and won the Himachal Pradesh Youth Congress presidential elections, but the Foundation for Advanced Management of Elections (FAME) declared the elections as null and void because Vikramaditya was found breaching the Model Code of Conduct, and subsequently he was barred from re-contesting the 2012 presidential elections.
